🌿🦉 Join Us at the CWRA Spring Meeting! 🐾🌳

You are invited to attend the annual Connecticut Wildlife Rehabilitators Association Spring Meeting.

📅 Date: Saturday, April 13, 2024

🕒Time: 8:30 am – 5:30 pm

📍 Location: Indian Rock Nature Preserve

501 Wolcott Avenue in Bristol

Our meeting will feature expert wildlife professionals, and rehabilitators presenting exciting topics in wildlife rehabilitation, as well as a networking opportunity to meet others in the field. This meeting is intended for licensed wildlife rehabilitators, those pursuing their Connecticut wildlife rehabilitation appointment, veterinarians, veterinary technicians, and those who want to become more involved with wildlife. From beginners to experts, the Spring Meeting has something for everyone!

This meeting is FREE to current CWRA members. If you need to renew your membership, or wish to become a member, you may do so by clicking this link: https://cwrawildlife.networkforgood.com/

There is a $30 registration fee for non-members, which will be payable at the door.

RSVP today to reserve your spot, pre-register for workshops and join us in our mission to protect and rehabilitate sick, injured and/or orphaned wild animals in Connecticut. https://forms.gle/uPGZwo1bYN3Cz1Z47

For aspiring wildlife rehabilitators, attendance at the conference can count towards some of your apprentice hours.

Food: We will have a hospitality table available but please feel free to donate baked goods – with our gratitude! If you could attach a note stating if the item is vegan, nut-free or gluten free that would be appreciated. Bring your own lunch from home or sign up and pay for pizza slices at registration.

Raffle items: Please contact Roz in advance regarding any raffle item(s) or giveaway item(s) you want to donate (see below). Roz can be emailed at: rozdow@hotmail.com

Free items: Please do not bring items to giveaway unless pre-approved. While we appreciate the generosity, we need to avoid being left with unexpected items to discard, which has presented problems for us at past meetings. If your approved items do not find homes, please plan to take them back with you.

Stock up! While Chris’s Squirrels and More is now closed, Chris will be on hand selling a limited number of items, such as Miracle Nipples and a few other supplies.

Together, let’s make a positive impact on wildlife rehabilitation in Connecticut!
